Most car repair shops aren’t to be trusted, they’re sleazy and liars for the most part. But not the shop, I found this place from a recommendation and I was delighted when I came here for service, everything was explained and compared to the previous labor I had on my vehicle, the price was outstanding, so I too, recommend this shop to anyone needing auto repairs or maintenance, this is an honest and affordable car repair shop.
Absolutely amazing service! They were able to take in my car to service instantly and talked me through issues they saw that weren't quite done correctly and made corrections for them super quick... also super personable staff!

As a former mechanic shop owner, I am very pickie. These guys are honest and fair, and as far as my three vists, they do a great job. STEVE is helpful .it is hard to find a shop you can trust, but they have earned mine. Keep up the good work. My go to guys!!!! Rate a 10 in book.
My car had several things going on and I couldn't fix everything it needed. I heard about The Shop, on Taylorsville Rd. I went in and told them everything that I needed done and they said to bring it in. I had it towed to the shop and just 3 days later they had everything finished. I highly recommend them. As a matter of fact my son has his car over there now with a transmission problem, that a Ford dealer was going to charge a fortune for. Go see them if you need a mechanic, they are good people!!
Steven and crew were great. From initial inquiry to job completion, response time was quick. Communication throughout was thorough - the technician took the time to explain how he fixed an issue. Everyone who greeted me did so with a polite warmth. Pricing was very competitive - I was able to save $$$ by taking my vehicle here instead of the dealership. I’ll be a repeat customer!
Steven and his team finished an oil change, tire rotation, air filter change, and a general car inspection promptly all while I was on my lunch break! The cherry on top is that this didn't break the bank. Steven also took the time to explain and show me what truly needs to be addressed with my car sooner than later. I've been overdue finding a reliable and knowledgeable mechanic for car maintenance but I finally found what I was looking for.

The Shop did an excellent job with the replacement of the brakes on our CRV! They were thorough in their explanation of the work they had done and the brakes are working perfectly! I appreciate the personal touch that you won’t get at other mechanic’s shops!
2nd time coming here in a month due to some bad luck but they were able to recommend a very cheap towing service and fixed my ignition same day at a price way lower than expected. My go to auto repair shop going forward!

We were passing through Louisville to Chicago when we started to have car issues with our Honda Odyssey. The engine light was flashing, and we were panicking. Not knowing anyone in the area, we looked online and saw that "The Shop" had a rating of 5. I was skeptical that any business could have a perfect rating, but after another mechanic shop said they couldn't take our car for a week, we decided to give "The Shop" a try as we needed the car fixed ASAP. We gave "The Shop" a call, and Stephen took our call. He was super friendly and knowledgeable, immediately putting us at ease. He told us to bring the car in right away and mentioned they had "the Honda Expert" who could help. The team at "The Shop" did a thorough inspection and even found a part that needed to be replaced, which could have caused serious damage to the car. Their work was top-notch, and they communicated with us promptly throughout the process. Thanks to their help, we were able to get back on the road to Colorado with no more car issues. We are so grateful for their timely and excellent service. If you have trouble with your car, bring it to them. It will be in good hands, and you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I recently moved to Fern Creek. Since we drive older cars, it's good to have a trustworthy mechanic close by. We happened to meet Steven through our new neighbor, and within about a month both of our cars needed some repair work. We decided to use "The Shop" and we are glad we did. Steven and his staff are courteous, fair, quite knowledgeable, and very accommodating. We are happy and relieved that we've found our new car guy.

Both Steve’s were amazing .. As a woman who has tried multiple automotive shops both chain and small, I cannot recommend The Shop enough. Their style of informing me what was going on with my 2011 VW Golf TDI was knowledgeable without mansplaining and was incredibly refreshing. This is a tip to toe mentality shared among the entire Shop, and you could tell they actually liked their jobs. Not common these days, but so nice to see. I have never felt more confident in my understanding of what is actually being worked on in my car and that the work being performed is of the highest quality. I will without a doubt be a lifelong customer. No one I'd trust more at this point.

Took 2009 honda ridgeline to be checked out before purchasing from honda world. Pointed out several small issues and I informed honda and saved money on the price of vehicle. Very nice and professional.
I was traveling and needed a radiator hose replaced. The Shop was able to replace the hose and coolant, and get me on my way quickly. They even washed the old coolant out of the engine compartment. They really saved my day. 10 Stars for The Shop.
Quality service from honest men. Took good care of my Ford Fusion while helping me figure out an electrical issue. My family & I will definitely be coming here more often.
Brought my car in because my radiator was leaking a lot. The team did a full diagnostic and gave me a quote on how much it would cost to fix. It was undoubtedly expensive so i didnt feel like doing it right now. I told that to them and they said there was no pressure and i didnt have to pay for the diagnostic. Very friendly and informative all around.
