Steven and Jacob were super helpful from start to finish! I found this shop on Google because it was close to my area but I’m so glad I didn’t go anywhere else. Communication was clear and they helped me resolve some really complicated issues on my car quickly and effectively! They’re good, honest people who clearly love what they do. 2nd time coming here in a month due to some bad luck but they were able to recommend a very cheap towing service and fixed my ignition same day at a price way lower than expected. My go to auto repair shop going forward!

Steven and his team finished an oil change, tire rotation, air filter change, and a general car inspection promptly all while I was on my lunch break! The cherry on top is that this didn't break the bank. Steven also took the time to explain and show me what truly needs to be addressed with my car sooner than later. I've been overdue finding a reliable and knowledgeable mechanic for car maintenance but I finally found what I was looking for.

Went there to get my oil changed today and my service was excellent. The guys was very knowledgeable and help with something that was also going on with my vehicle other the oil change. They did over charge me for anything and I will be a returning customer for sure.

I've been having some small intermittent issues with my car that are quite elusive, and they tried their absolute best to try and replicate them, but my car just wasn't cooperating. Nonetheless, they're really flexible and honest, and it looks like they're running a great shop!

The shop not only got my car looked at in a timely manner but we’re very transparent with exactly what was wrong and also did a thorough inspection and found a few other things that would have been safety concerns. They communicated very well, explained it to where I could understand and I would highly recommend taking your vehicle here with car troubles.

Last night I noticed my engine light come and had no idea what was wrong. I remembered a business card I received in the mail describing "The Shop" for automotive repair. I took my vehicle in and discovered a great place to take my cars for repair. It's nice to find a repair shop you can trust for outstanding service. Today they won a new customer.

Best service in the city of Lousiville by far!

Service was fast, efficient, affordable and the customer service is beyond expectations. This is the second vehicle I’ve had serviced there and I plan to continue to be a customer at The Shop.

I recently had my car serviced at this company, and overall, I am very pleased with the results. My car runs perfectly now, thanks to their precise and high-quality work in replacing many parts. I absolutely recommend getting your car serviced or repaired here for the quality of the work alone. However, there were a few areas where the customer service could improve. The phone conversations were a bit rushed, and the explanations of the issues and necessary repairs felt hurried. Despite this, they did take the time to show me the parts that were replaced, which I greatly appreciated. They also walked my brother and I through the process a bit, this occurred in person upon picking up the vehicle. In summary, I would say that the exceptional quality of the service and the thoroughness of the repairs outweigh the minor customer service issues. I highly recommend this company for any car repairs or maintenance needs.

They were pleasant and able to get me in quickly. Update: I had my 2nd encounter with then today and they are fantastic. They are pleasant to deal with.

The Shop did an excellent job with the replacement of the brakes on our CRV! They were thorough in their explanation of the work they had done and the brakes are working perfectly! I appreciate the personal touch that you won’t get at other mechanic’s shops!

Incredibly impressed with this place. I called asking about having some brake work done and they told me to bring it in any morning and they would take care of it. The repairs ended up being a bit more involved than expected, but they still managed to get everything done that same day! They were very communicative about my repairs throughout the process. They sent pictures and provided updates. All the staff I dealt with were very friendly and knowledgeable, taking time to answer any questions or explain any repairs. The prices of services were fair and reasonable. I will be back for any future mechanic services.

THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME!! Super honest, knowledgeable and JUST FREAKING AWESOME! They have earned my business in full. Jacob (mechanic) coolest guy on the block. I knew I needed my brakes checked, and I work right next to The Shop, so I went over and asked if they could look at it. Going in, the vibe was already super fun. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Steven greeted me at the desk, and we talked about possible repairs—then he told me to bring it by, they’d look at it, and if I wanted, they could start repairs right away and hopefully have them done that night! Once they knew what my car would need Steven walked over to let me know and talk it through with me. He was clearly very knowledgeable and he explained what my car needed and why it was important and how they were going to do it well. Brian was the tech, and he stayed late to get my repairs finished for me. Steven kept me updated the whole time. I picked up my car with new brake pads, rotors, and fresh calipers, and my little Hyundai has not driven better since I got her last year. They do oil changes as well, they’re super sweet and fun—definitely definitely go here if you need work on your car.

I pulled in and thought I had a coolant leak. They checked it out and found nothing wrong. Very nice shop.

Appreciate and love The Shop SO much! I desperately needed an oil change before going out of town and they thankfully were able to squeeze me in. These guys are hands down the best in town. They’re incredibly kind and knowledgeable and explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand, even if you know nothing about cars. Take every car you ever own here. Seriously, they’re awesome.

An Auto repair shops can be found anywhere and some are even proficient but not many can do real auto repair like tearing down a busted engine barely running. My Mustang, after a 116,000 miles, needed just such a repair. The guys at The Shop not only tore my engine down and made the repair and thus saving the car but enhanced the power out put by making additional upgrades to the engine as they reassembled - the whole time sending me pictures of the repair. Such engine work is not everyday auto shop work and was far more than I would have trusted many to do. All the guys at The Shop love cars and know cars. I recommend them to all and trust them with both my cars. In addition to doing high level auto repair the guys at The Shop are a Pun of Fun

I have taken my car here a few different times for different issues. They have been exceptional every time. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and they are very open and transparent with cost and what is going on with your car. They have provided pictures of the damaged items/areas before they were replaced and the part removed from my car when I went to pick it up. The clear straitforward unambiguity is incredible and as someone who has been burnt by mechanics in the past taking advantage of my ignorance, The Shop is a welcome relief for a good autoshop.

This place was AMAZING! They worked with me a lot and my budget. I got my AC compressor and belt done here and I would highly recommend this place!

Brought my car in because my radiator was leaking a lot. The team did a full diagnostic and gave me a quote on how much it would cost to fix. It was undoubtedly expensive so i didnt feel like doing it right now. I told that to them and they said there was no pressure and i didnt have to pay for the diagnostic. Very friendly and informative all around.

My wife went to this shop a few months ago and could not stop talking about how great of a job they had done for a fair price. Recently, I attempted to go to another shop to get my tires rotated and oil changed and was blown away at how much they were quoting for a simple job; due to this I decided to check out The Shop. As soon as I walked in I was treated as if the owner and I had been friends for years and the prices were some of the best I've seen around Louisville. Our initial conversation went so well that I ended up having them do quite a bit of routine maintenance (tire rotation, oil change, air filters, battery change) all at once because I trusted them to give me the best prices (which they absolutely did.) To summarize, if you're looking for an honest, hardworking, and fair local shop then this should be the one you go to. I cannot say good enough things and I will only be going here in the future for any maintenance my car needs.
