Needed my shifter replaced and my brother recommended “The Shop”. So, I took my car up there and made contact with Stephen and Jacob who are very great people to talk to and informative about what would be best for my car. Made an appointment and they put the shifter in and it now feels way better than before. 10/10 recommend going there for any service you need for your car. I will definitely be taking my car there if any issues occurs.
My son had to have his car tuned up before he left for college. They were efficient and explained everything!

Always a pleasant experience here! The guys are very professional. Service is always quick as possible, sometimes even same-day. Prices are more than fair! Staff is not pushy when it comes to possible repairs. I highly recommend Steven, Jacob, and the staff!
2nd time coming here in a month due to some bad luck but they were able to recommend a very cheap towing service and fixed my ignition same day at a price way lower than expected. My go to auto repair shop going forward!

I honestly was beginning to despise people in the auto repair industry for generally being dishonest, conniving scumbags, but then I met Steven and his team and they changed my mind on all that lol. It doesn’t get much better than this, folks
They did a great job of with my brakes that were taking a little longer than preferred to brake! It was quick and easy and we had the car back within the day! They explained everything well and it was very reasonably priced! Love working with these men, they make getting my car fixed and enjoyable experience.
We were having break issues on our 2013 Ford F150. The Shop diagnosed the problem, gave us an estimate and our truck runs great now. They are reasonably priced, friendly and very professional!! I highly recommend them!!!

Our Prius was acting like the hybrid battery was problematic. We called around and found The Shop who could get it in and diagnose it for us. It ended up being the accessory battery. We appreciated the communications, and quick turn around of the car. I highly recommend this business.
We were passing through Louisville to Chicago when we started to have car issues with our Honda Odyssey. The engine light was flashing, and we were panicking. Not knowing anyone in the area, we looked online and saw that "The Shop" had a rating of 5. I was skeptical that any business could have a perfect rating, but after another mechanic shop said they couldn't take our car for a week, we decided to give "The Shop" a try as we needed the car fixed ASAP. We gave "The Shop" a call, and Stephen took our call. He was super friendly and knowledgeable, immediately putting us at ease. He told us to bring the car in right away and mentioned they had "the Honda Expert" who could help. The team at "The Shop" did a thorough inspection and even found a part that needed to be replaced, which could have caused serious damage to the car. Their work was top-notch, and they communicated with us promptly throughout the process. Thanks to their help, we were able to get back on the road to Colorado with no more car issues. We are so grateful for their timely and excellent service. If you have trouble with your car, bring it to them. It will be in good hands, and you will not be disappointed.
Staff was very sweet and welcoming! Dropped my car off Thursday and was completed by Monday! My cars drives like it’s brand new!

The best service I’ve ever had! Steven and his crew were patient and explained what they were doing and why each step of the way. If you are anywhere in the Louisville area you should definitely go to the shop for anything you need done. They are very friendly and reasonable people that have helped me countless times!

Last night I noticed my engine light come and had no idea what was wrong. I remembered a business card I received in the mail describing "The Shop" for automotive repair. I took my vehicle in and discovered a great place to take my cars for repair. It's nice to find a repair shop you can trust for outstanding service. Today they won a new customer.
I honestly cannot recommend The Shop enough. At first I came in to get a second opinion and a quote. When I dropped off my vehicle I spoke with Steven about some history about the car as well as what our needs were. He was absolutely amazing, and after walking out of The Shop, I called my wife and said "I don't care if he charges us twice as much as the other place, I'm having them do the work." I never mentioned anything about having another place look at it first, so it wasn't like he was trying to undercut their quote. Even then, he made sure to try and get us the best prices on the parts and got us a couple of discounts on them. Honestly, after getting the quote from the other place, I priced it all out myself based on what they had said, and Steven and The Shop are definitely making money in some nefarious way, because it ain't in parts and labor... xD
They took great care of my vehicle! They notified me when the part was ordered, received, and the job complete. Their enthusiasm for cars was quite apparent. I will not hesitate to refer friends and family there. Thank you for your service!
I took my car in after being unable to get answers anywhere else, having seen the great recommendations online. First impressions are everything, and these guys are true professionals in every sense of the word. They are knowledgeable, honest, and extremely reasonable. I have family members who have had excellent experiences with The Shop, so that's where I took my car after it broke down. Steven called me every day with detailed updates to what he was finding and what it would cost. He was kind and friendly, I felt informed and confident that my car was in good hands, and I feel the price I paid was extremely fair. Best of all, my car drives beautifully (and safely) again. I will absolutely be returning next time my car needs work.
Moved back to J-Town. Passed this shop several times and had never stopped in. Needed some engine work done on my 96 Mustang GT. Explained the problem and was told they could take care of it. They completed the work in a timely manner and kept in contact with me the whole time the vehicle was there. The staff is very knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and professional. Would recommend this shop to any car person that wants quality work done. All my cars will be going here for any repairs.
I pulled in and thought I had a coolant leak. They checked it out and found nothing wrong. Very nice shop.
I picked The Shop from Google since it had good reviews. I had a whole bunch of steering/suspension work on my old truck to keep it in good condition. They were very professional and communicated well. They were also very straightforward, showed me photos of a couple other issues they noticed, gave me different options, and even showed me the old parts afterwards even though I trusted them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! I’ll definitely go back for future repairs and have recommended them to a couple friends.
Steven and his team finished an oil change, tire rotation, air filter change, and a general car inspection promptly all while I was on my lunch break! The cherry on top is that this didn't break the bank. Steven also took the time to explain and show me what truly needs to be addressed with my car sooner than later. I've been overdue finding a reliable and knowledgeable mechanic for car maintenance but I finally found what I was looking for.

There is not enough room on this review to truly say how amazing The Shop is! We’ve taken our cars there for various reasons, several times, but I’ll just speak of this last time. They got us in right away fixed what was needed immediately as they knew that was my daughters only transportation. They helped her with the cost, and her car is working perfectly. (They even text to follow up the next day to make sure)! Steven and crew truly go beyond and above, and definitely far pass expectations.
This place has got my business from here on out. I came in for a standard full synthetic oil change. They did a routine inspection and found the source of a spooky sound that I had been hearing that I didn’t even think to tell them about! They also identified that I had an oil leak, which I was not aware of. They physically showed me where the issues were, which I felt was very transparent of them. They also explained everything to me to make sure I understood why certain things needed to be replaced. I felt like they treated me with the utmost care, which I really appreciated. Their pricing is also super reasonable. I am so glad I decided to try them out for an oil change! They will be my go-to shop now! Thanks a ton!

Everyone was so helpful, and Steven went out of his way listening to my concerns, diagnosed my car’s problem in a timely manner, and honestly! Steven made me feel cared for and important, like family! This is the best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic, and with his staff too!!
Went there to get my oil changed today and my service was excellent. The guys was very knowledgeable and help with something that was also going on with my vehicle other the oil change. They did over charge me for anything and I will be a returning customer for sure.
