I honestly cannot recommend The Shop enough. At first I came in to get a second opinion and a quote. When I dropped off my vehicle I spoke with Steven about some history about the car as well as what our needs were. He was absolutely amazing, and after walking out of The Shop, I called my wife and said "I don't care if he charges us twice as much as the other place, I'm having them do the work." I never mentioned anything about having another place look at it first, so it wasn't like he was trying to undercut their quote. Even then, he made sure to try and get us the best prices on the parts and got us a couple of discounts on them. Honestly, after getting the quote from the other place, I priced it all out myself based on what they had said, and Steven and The Shop are definitely making money in some nefarious way, because it ain't in parts and labor... xD

Appreciate and love The Shop SO much! I desperately needed an oil change before going out of town and they thankfully were able to squeeze me in. Their staff are so friendly, the waiting area is very clean and it was an amazing deal! We will definitely be back and I’ve already started messaging family before even walking out the door. Went there to get my oil changed today and my service was excellent. The guys was very knowledgeable and help with something that was also going on with my vehicle other the oil change. They did over charge me for anything and I will be a returning customer for sure.

There is not enough room on this review to truly say how amazing The Shop is! We’ve taken our cars there for various reasons, several times, but I’ll just speak of this last time. They got us in right away fixed what was needed immediately as they knew that was my daughters only transportation. They helped her with the cost, and her car is working perfectly. (They even text to follow up the next day to make sure)! Steven and crew truly go beyond and above, and definitely far pass expectations.

Service was fast, efficient, affordable and the customer service is beyond expectations. This is the second vehicle I’ve had serviced there and I plan to continue to be a customer at The Shop.
I took my car in after being unable to get answers anywhere else, having seen the great recommendations online. First impressions are everything, and these guys are true professionals in every sense of the word. They are knowledgeable, honest, and extremely reasonable. Brought my car in because my radiator was leaking a lot. The team did a full diagnostic and gave me a quote on how much it would cost to fix. It was undoubtedly expensive so i didnt feel like doing it right now. I told that to them and they said there was no pressure and i didnt have to pay for the diagnostic. Very friendly and informative all around.
My wife and I recently moved to Fern Creek. Since we drive older cars, it's good to have a trustworthy mechanic close by. We happened to meet Steven through our new neighbor, and within about a month both of our cars needed some repair work. We decided to use "The Shop" and we are glad we did. Steven and his staff are courteous, fair, quite knowledgeable, and very accommodating. We are happy and relieved that we've found our new car guy.
We were passing through Louisville to Chicago when we started to have car issues with our Honda Odyssey. The engine light was flashing, and we were panicking. Not knowing anyone in the area, we looked online and saw that "The Shop" had a rating of 5. I was skeptical that any business could have a perfect rating, but after another mechanic shop said they couldn't take our car for a week, we decided to give "The Shop" a try as we needed the car fixed ASAP. We gave "The Shop" a call, and Stephen took our call. He was super friendly and knowledgeable, immediately putting us at ease. He told us to bring the car in right away and mentioned they had "the Honda Expert" who could help. The team at "The Shop" did a thorough inspection and even found a part that needed to be replaced, which could have caused serious damage to the car. Their work was top-notch, and they communicated with us promptly throughout the process. Thanks to their help, we were able to get back on the road to Colorado with no more car issues. We are so grateful for their timely and excellent service. If you have trouble with your car, bring it to them. It will be in good hands, and you will not be disappointed.

Both Steve’s were amazing .. An Auto repair shops can be found anywhere and some are even proficient but not many can do real auto repair like tearing down a busted engine barely running. My Mustang, after a 116,000 miles, needed just such a repair. The guys at The Shop not only tore my engine down and made the repair and thus saving the car but enhanced the power out put by making additional upgrades to the engine as they reassembled - the whole time sending me pictures of the repair. Such engine work is not everyday auto shop work and was far more than I would have trusted many to do. All the guys at The Shop love cars and know cars. I recommend them to all and trust them with both my cars. In addition to doing high level auto repair the guys at The Shop are a Pun of Fun
I took my vehicle to them recently and they did a great job fixing my brakes and more. They were honest and the prices were fair. Very friendly and I appreciated being updated via text, shown pictures of what needed to be fixed, and I was even shown the old parts of what was repaired when I arrived. The Shop will be my go-to now for auto repair.

Needed my shifter replaced and my brother recommended “The Shop”. So, I took my car up there and made contact with Stephen and Jacob who are very great people to talk to and informative about what would be best for my car. Made an appointment and they put the shifter in and it now feels way better than before. 10/10 recommend going there for any service you need for your car. I will definitely be taking my car there if any issues occurs.
Last night I noticed my engine light come and had no idea what was wrong. I remembered a business card I received in the mail describing "The Shop" for automotive repair. I took my vehicle in and discovered a great place to take my cars for repair. It's nice to find a repair shop you can trust for outstanding service. Today they won a new customer.
I picked The Shop from Google since it had good reviews. I had a whole bunch of steering/suspension work on my old truck to keep it in good condition. They were very professional and communicated well. They were also very straightforward, showed me photos of a couple other issues they noticed, gave me different options, and even showed me the old parts afterwards even though I trusted them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! I’ll definitely go back for future repairs and have recommended them to a couple friends.

I have taken my 2019 Chevy Colorado to The Shop Auto Specialist in Jtown several times over the last year for a number of scheduled maintenance items like oil changes, serpentine belt installation, coolant system maintenance, and spark plug changes. They have done quality work each time and completed all job on schedule. The Shop takes pride in their results. The Shop is customer oriented and honest when working through any concerns or issues involving maintenance and repairs. When I first took my truck to the shop, I was looking for mechanics I could trust, and it looks like I found them.
They was very nice and extremely helpful when it came to diagnosis and repair they took very good care of my Jetta I’m glad I found them. I can’t thank you guys enough.

The Shop did an excellent job with the replacement of the brakes on our CRV! They were thorough in their explanation of the work they had done and the brakes are working perfectly! I appreciate the personal touch that you won’t get at other mechanic’s shops!
Staff was very sweet and welcoming! Dropped my car off Thursday and was completed by Monday! My cars drives like it’s brand new!
Incredibly impressed with this place. I called asking about having some brake work done and they told me to bring it in any morning and they would take care of it. The repairs ended up being a bit more involved than expected, but they still managed to get everything done that same day! They were very communicative about my repairs throughout the process. They sent pictures and provided updates. All the staff I dealt with were very friendly and knowledgeable, taking time to answer any questions or explain any repairs. The prices of services were fair and reasonable. I will be back for any future mechanic services.
I honestly was beginning to despise people in the auto repair industry for generally being dishonest, conniving scumbags, but then I met Steven and his team and they changed my mind on all that lol. It doesn’t get much better than this, folks
The best service I’ve ever had! Steven and his crew were patient and explained what they were doing and why each step of the way. The shop not only got my car looked at in a timely manner but we’re very transparent with exactly what was wrong and also did a thorough inspection and found a few other things that would have been safety concerns. They communicated very well, explained it to where I could understand and I would highly recommend taking your vehicle here with car troubles.
