Always a pleasant experience here! The guys are very professional. Service is always quick as possible, sometimes even same-day. Prices are more than fair! Staff is not pushy when it comes to possible repairs. I highly recommend Steven, Jacob, and the staff!

I bought my car used a year and a half ago, and it has been nothing but trouble. I’ve taken it to multiple places for various repairs. I brought it to The Shop initially for a transmission leak, but they identified and addressed other issues I had been dealing with. They communicated with me throughout the process and got my car running better than it did when I first bought it. I’ll be bringing my car here from now on!
The customer service was amazing. Oil change was $49.95 for full synthetic oil.

The only place I would take my GMC diesel truck. They have always been fair priced and quick to get to me. My truck is used for work and is $80+ k to replace and they have always done me right.

What turned out to be a false alarm, could have easily been a nightmare had it not been for the honesty and professionalism of the staff at The Shop. Highly recommend this establishment as they are both diligent and honest. We will continue to do business with The Shop!
This place is great and would definitely recommend it to anyone. I have used them a few times already and haven't had any issues come from their work. First off the staff is super friendly and helpful which puts you at ease. Secondly they will diagnose your car and break it down for you on what specifically is wrong and not try and upsell you on what you wouldn't need. They also run car fax reports on your car to see what maintenance should be done on your car to help maintain and prolong the life of your car. They also follow up after they have done the service to check to make sure no issues have come up. If your looking for a new place to take your car, check them out you will not be disappointed.
Steven and the mechanics at the shop are as honest as they come. Twice now I've come to them with "problems" that they've talked me out of wasting money on. They use good old fashion diagnostics to insure that they aren't just throwing parts at the problem to waste your time and money.
I have family members who have had excellent experiences with The Shop, so that's where I took my car after it broke down. Steven called me every day with detailed updates to what he was finding and what it would cost. He was kind and friendly, I felt informed and confident that my car was in good hands, and I feel the price I paid was extremely fair. Best of all, my car drives beautifully (and safely) again. I will absolutely be returning next time my car needs work.
My second great experience at The Shop. Those guys do really great work, and in a professional and timely manner. Had a hole in the radiator on my RAV4. It was going to take a week or two at least at another place I checked, but I just couldn’t wait that long. Needed the car for a trip in 5 days. Just like my previous visit here they did a great reasonably priced job. Steven and the crew are excellent to work with.
They work wonders, had some pieces of my ignition coils left in the coil hole and they managed to get them out and cleared. Truly grateful for their mechanics I’ll be going there again!
Love the shop for all of my automotive needs. The staff is so attentive and knowledgable! They educate you on the work they are performing on your car and how to best take care of the vehicle. But my experience with "The Shop" in J-Town and with the owner, Steven, has been outstanding! I had two unrelated issues with my Ford Escape. Great experience with Steven and the rest of the crew at the Shop! Needed a new battery for a BMW. They exceeded my expectations with efficiency , knowledge and a little bit of fun thrown into the experience. I will definately return for future maintenance.
My mother-in-law had a fantastic experience with the shop regarding her car repairs. She specifically asked me to leave them a 5 star review on google. They efficiently addressed her oil cooler issue and they also proactively informed her about the condition of the brakes. Her car was fixed in one day! Previously, she had visited another shop expressing concerns about unusual noises when turning, but they failed to resolve the issue or notify her about the bad brakes during their inspection. My mother-in-law felt very comfortable communicating with the technician at this shop, which made the experience even better. My husband and I have had a great experience with this shop. Excellent brake job and fair prices. Once my electrical panel lit up with the trac off and check engine light. They found my gas cap wasn't tight enough and it caused a vacuum. I was relieved at the quick, easy fix. I would have had to pay $180 at the dealership to find out something simple like that. I wasn't even charged here at all :)
Steven (The owner) was recommended to me by a friend for a tune up and eval on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma. I could not have asked for better service and transparency from Steven and his crew. They went ahead and gave me a run down on the price for the services my truck needed before pulling the trigger on the repairs, and educated me along the process. The entire process was smooth, honest, and quite efficient. Had everything taken care of within a day, and I told them they could take their time with my truck. I will only be taking my truck to this shop from here on out.

Our Prius was acting like the hybrid battery was problematic. We called around and found The Shop who could get it in and diagnose it for us. It ended up being the accessory battery. We appreciated the communications, and quick turn around of the car. I highly recommend this business.

Moved back to J-Town. Passed this shop several times and had never stopped in. Needed some engine work done on my 96 Mustang GT. Explained the problem and was told they could take care of it. They completed the work in a timely manner and kept in contact with me the whole time the vehicle was there. The staff is very knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and professional. Would recommend this shop to any car person that wants quality work done. All my cars will be going here for any repairs.
Had a vehicle brought to The Shop for a pre-purchase inspection. Steven was fantastic in working with me on scheduling and the inspection was exactly what I needed. He went through what he found and gave me the information I needed to make a decision. Used vehicles are never perfect, but having a mechanic you can trust help you understand both the current condition as well as what you can expect in terms of repairs down the road is super valuable. Had my Highlander in to do an oil change after attempting myself. Turns out the last place I had it had tightened the oil filter to a Herculean level. Luckily the guys there were able to remove it without damaging the filter housing which was amazing. I have found my new permanent home for auto repair.
