My family has brought a handful of cars to The Shop since they’ve opened and they always do great, solid work. Very fast, super honest, fair prices, and they actually take the time to explain what’s going on. It’s hard to find a place you can really trust with your car, but these guys have definitely earned it. They work hard!
We recently had our car serviced at The Shop, and were very impressed with the communication and service. We will be back!
I've been to the shop before and came back because they did a great job the first time. Most recently, my car was having issues with no warning lights, and they were able to diagnose the problem the same day I dropped it off. They explained everything clearly, gave helpful recommendations, and never pressured me into an expensive service that was not necessary. As long as I live in Louisville I'll bring my car here. If you have an Audi, bring it here over the dealer, better in every way.
Top Notch Mechanics. The owner is great at seeing his business through the customers eyes. Can't beat the $49.00 oil change. This business will excel in all your Service needs. Top level parts are used for all repairs.
Everybody is super friendly and so helpful. They're quick and really look out for you. Fair prices, excellent service!
We had a great experience! I got to talk with the owner, he was professional, friendly, and assured me that my car was on good hands. He was right! My car is fixed and it cost so much less than we thought it would. The Shop is our new go to for all of our cars!

Knowledgeable, fair pricing, and good communication. They completed work on my vehicle in a timely manner, and went above and beyond to make sure my mom was completely satisfied with a large amount of repairs needed on her vehicle.
They always get me together and don’t make me feel as if I need extra repairs but they will give me recommendations and the status of my cars condition upon completion of what I brought it in for!

Great people to work with. Got me a quote over the phone quickly, beat the prices of other nearby shops, fun to talk to. They even put us on a good barbecue place nearby. 2 weeks after service they reached out to make sure everything was still good with the service we received.
Addition to previous post: I have lived in Europe, the middle east and all over the U.S. During those 60 years I have had 38 cars and been to countless service centers...but The Shop SHOULD GET 6 STARS! They diagnosed and repaired things other mechanics could not find...and they found multiple other things that needed immediate attention I didn't know were developing and potentially serious problems.Skilled, caring and honest mechanics are a rare breed, but that's what you get with Steven and his team! THANK YOU! FRIENDLY EXPERIENCE AND QUALITY WORK! Having a knowledgeable mechanic you can trust is a rare find in any community. But my experience with "The Shop" in J-Town and with the owner, Steven, has been outstanding! I had two unrelated issues with my Ford Escape. In the most gracious and sincere way Steve kept me fully informed at all times, worked hard to find ways to reduce the cost and completed the work to the highest standards. First visit with my Toyota Tacoma small shop with great prices. Friendly staff, on my visit I witnessed the staff roll out the red carpet treatment for another customer who was upset she was waiting on a BMW that required a special part. The staff went out of their way to help her. Not only was I impressed by the service they provided her. I am giving them a five star review. I usually don’t take the time to leave reviews. But Wow this shop was great.
They fit me in their busy day. Listened to me. They're friendly, nicely priced, and really have an interest in your vehicle. I felt like I was in good hands
Brought a Chevy Express van to The Shop on short notice—I'm in a band and we had shows coming up. Our brakes were completely destroyed, and AC barely working. They got it done super fast and did an amazing job. Super reliable, no issues on the road. Definitely saved us, quite literally!

The shop just completed a tune up on my 20 year old Impala and it runs as well as it did 20 years ago. The price was right and the guys made a couple recommendations on doing two more details to the work. It runs better than ever. My sister takes both her cars to The Shop too and I plan to take my car there from now on.

Was an awesome experience with some dudes that just love cars and love saving people time and money. Came in to have my ac evacuated so I could do some work on it and they offered to do a vacuum test to check for leaks, didn’t find any charged it up and got me on my way! Saved me a bunch of time and money replacing a compressor. Can’t thank the guys there enough!
I had my car towed to the Shop when the power steering went out and they carved out time to look at it on the same day. It was an older car (2010 Dodge Caravan, 190,000 miles) with lots of cumulative problems so I ended up having it junked, but the mechanics provided a detailed diagnosis, discussed different options focusing on cost management, and had competitive prices. They also helped me make arrangements to sell the car (to a junkyard) and to have it towed there since this was new territory for me. So even though I didn't end up having any work done on my car I was impressed by their helpfulness and high level of professionalism and I have already recommended the Shop to others.

This establishment is top notch! My first time ever walking into this place, and I got treated like I was a regular! The guy at the desk (I apologize, I can’t remember his name) was extremely helpful, and explained the process from start to finish… and it went exactly as I was told. My car runs like a champ! Also extremely happy I could bring it in after 2p, and got it back, in plenty of time before they closed at 6p! Flawless victory! You have a repeat customer. Thank you so much!!
A rare find! Quick service, reasonable prices, excellent customer service, comfortable environment. One of the friendliest shops I’ve ever encountered. I will recommend.
Had an issue with my car starting and they solved the problem very quickly and had amazing service. Highly recommend if you are looking for an honest repair shop.
