Was an awesome experience with some dudes that just love cars and love saving people time and money. Came in to have my ac evacuated so I could do some work on it and they offered to do a vacuum test to check for leaks, didn’t find any charged it up and got me on my way! Saved me a bunch of time and money replacing a compressor. Can’t thank the guys there enough!
Iv used this place many times now, Great techs at a fair price!. I have done most auto work myself in the past, but now I have found a competent shop that I can trust. Been nothing but fantastic! 5 stars
These guys are great. They spent hours trying to find a problem with the shift column that had locked in reverse but apparently fixed itself and they still tried to find out why. After all the time spent, they charged us $0

Addition to previous post: I have lived in Europe, the middle east and all over the U.S. During those 60 years I have had 38 cars and been to countless service centers...but The Shop SHOULD GET 6 STARS! They diagnosed and repaired things other mechanics could not find...and they found multiple other things that needed immediate attention I didn't know were developing and potentially serious problems.Skilled, caring and honest mechanics are a rare breed, but that's what you get with Steven and his team! THANK YOU! FRIENDLY EXPERIENCE AND QUALITY WORK! Having a knowledgeable mechanic you can trust is a rare find in any community. But my experience with "The Shop" in J-Town and with the owner, Steven, has been outstanding! I had two unrelated issues with my Ford Escape. In the most gracious and sincere way Steve kept me fully informed at all times, worked hard to find ways to reduce the cost and completed the work to the highest standards. Brought a Chevy Express van to The Shop on short notice—I'm in a band and we had shows coming up. Our brakes were completely destroyed, and AC barely working. They got it done super fast and did an amazing job. Super reliable, no issues on the road. Definitely saved us, quite literally!

Went here today to get my partner's car looked at and everyone was very nice. they worked pretty quickly despite being decently busy, and they let us know everything that was wrong with the car, without any charge for inspection. 10/10 will be coming back for any future vehicle needs.
You can trust these mechanics and that’s a hard thing to do these days. I have been misled by more than one shop. Honest, knowledgeable,and probably the cleanest garage lobby I’ve ever been in. I will definitely use them again when I need work.
Updated review!!!! Just had oil chg/tire rotation. First time the car didn’t need additional maintenance 😳😁. Highly recommend The Shop for professional maintenance and honest dealings. Get your ride ready for hot weather at The Shop.
They work wonders, had some pieces of my ignition coils left in the coil hole and they managed to get them out and cleared. Truly grateful for their mechanics I’ll be going there again!
Top Notch Mechanics. The owner is great at seeing his business through the customers eyes. Can't beat the $49.00 oil change. This business will excel in all your Service needs. Top level parts are used for all repairs.
We had a great experience! I got to talk with the owner, he was professional, friendly, and assured me that my car was on good hands. He was right! My car is fixed and it cost so much less than we thought it would. The Shop is our new go to for all of our cars!
What turned out to be a false alarm, could have easily been a nightmare had it not been for the honesty and professionalism of the staff at The Shop. Highly recommend this establishment as they are both diligent and honest. We will continue to do business with The Shop!
This place is great and would definitely recommend it to anyone. I have used them a few times already and haven't had any issues come from their work. First off the staff is super friendly and helpful which puts you at ease. Secondly they will diagnose your car and break it down for you on what specifically is wrong and not try and upsell you on what you wouldn't need. They also run car fax reports on your car to see what maintenance should be done on your car to help maintain and prolong the life of your car. They also follow up after they have done the service to check to make sure no issues have come up. If your looking for a new place to take your car, check them out you will not be disappointed.
I had a great experience at The Shop. I really appreciate that the reasonable pricing and promptness to get my car back on the road after having a full engine repair. I would definitely recommend the guys at The Shop if you want fair prices and personalized service for your car repairs.

Very thorough mechanics. Owners Steve and Jacob very nice and upfront with explaining everything. It was a great experience and literally one of the best times I’ve had at an auto repair shop!
My second great experience at The Shop. Those guys do really great work, and in a professional and timely manner. Had a hole in the radiator on my RAV4. It was going to take a week or two at least at another place I checked, but I just couldn’t wait that long. Needed the car for a trip in 5 days. Just like my previous visit here they did a great reasonably priced job. Steven and the crew are excellent to work with.
