Found them through google and the reviews are spot on. Brought a car I just purchased for a thorough inspection. They found a coolant leak and fixed it on the spot. They also found some issues that can be addressed later. Gave me some quotes and I will be able to budget it and come back. Now I can drive with some peace of mind. Bonus points: When they replace parts they keep the worn items to show you what was wrong. This kind of shop is far and few between. They earned my business. First visit with my Toyota Tacoma small shop with great prices. Friendly staff, on my visit I witnessed the staff roll out the red carpet treatment for another customer who was upset she was waiting on a BMW that required a special part. The staff went out of their way to help her. Not only was I impressed by the service they provided her. I am giving them a five star review. I usually don’t take the time to leave reviews. We moved to the area about 18 months ago and have only used The Shop for our mechanic needs for our two cars. We have found the people to be extremely fair and professional and have been happy with their work. I really can't recommend them enough if you want a trustworthy garage that does great work. Had our Outback in today and the job turned out to be bigger than we anticipated but they still found the time to get it knocked out so we'd have the car for the weekend. Great service.

I've been to the shop before and came back because they did a great job the first time. Most recently, my car was having issues with no warning lights, and they were able to diagnose the problem the same day I dropped it off. They explained everything clearly, gave helpful recommendations, and never pressured me into an expensive service that was not necessary. As long as I live in Louisville I'll bring my car here. If you have an Audi, bring it here over the dealer, better in every way.

Brakes were vibrating hard, and despite being very busy they got my car diagnosed, quoted and fixed in just a couple hours. All staff was very friendly and helped me understand everything that was wrong and why. Prices are very affordable and have longer warrenties than other shops. Overall 10/10

i brought my 2016 lexus is350 f sport in for some maintenance & a couple weeks later i noticed an oil leak. i took it back expecting to have to leave it for a while, but they took it in immediately, found the issue, topped off my oil, fixed it, & had me back on the road in less than 30 mins. turned out the oil drain plug gasket was defective. stuff happens, but what matters is how a shop handles it, & they handled it perfectly. no hassle, no charge, just took care of it. hard to find honest shops that stand behind their work like this. also worth mentioning, they’re always genuinely enthusiastic about working on my car like it’s something they actually enjoy getting into, not just another job. definitely earned my trust & i’ll keep bringing my car here.
