My second great experience at The Shop. Those guys do really great work, and in a professional and timely manner. Had a hole in the radiator on my RAV4. It was going to take a week or two at least at another place I checked, but I just couldn’t wait that long. Needed the car for a trip in 5 days. Just like my previous visit here they did a great reasonably priced job. Steven and the crew are excellent to work with.

These guys are great. They spent hours trying to find a problem with the shift column that had locked in reverse but apparently fixed itself and they still tried to find out why. After all the time spent, they charged us $0

Was an awesome experience with some dudes that just love cars and love saving people time and money. Came in to have my ac evacuated so I could do some work on it and they offered to do a vacuum test to check for leaks, didn’t find any charged it up and got me on my way! Saved me a bunch of time and money replacing a compressor. Can’t thank the guys there enough!

I had a break down along the way and had to be here for a whole morning while waiting for repairs. It’s a healthy way to get to know the people who work there and see them make decisions. I was the only person waiting and they took notice. My repair was front loaded and they were cognizant of my needs. I also felt very comfortable with the decisions the owner made. Everything from personnel decisions to repair advice, he was pleasant to customers and employees alike. This is the type of place that will treat you fair and make you feel like you matter to them. I fully expect them to be a much larger shop in the future as they know how to do it right.

I'm a long haul truck driver. I move to jeffersontow a couple months ago from South Carolina was in need of some work on my hyundai sonata 2012 2.0T limited with low miles. A friend of mines said they did good work and at reasonable prices. I Wasn't disappointed as a matter fact I have them doing some more work on my car next week. I had my car towed to the Shop when the power steering went out and they carved out time to look at it on the same day. It was an older car (2010 Dodge Caravan, 190,000 miles) with lots of cumulative problems so I ended up having it junked, but the mechanics provided a detailed diagnosis, discussed different options focusing on cost management, and had competitive prices. They also helped me make arrangements to sell the car (to a junkyard) and to have it towed there since this was new territory for me. So even though I didn't end up having any work done on my car I was impressed by their helpfulness and high level of professionalism and I have already recommended the Shop to others.

This place is great and would definitely recommend it to anyone. I have used them a few times already and haven't had any issues come from their work. First off the staff is super friendly and helpful which puts you at ease. Secondly they will diagnose your car and break it down for you on what specifically is wrong and not try and upsell you on what you wouldn't need. They also run car fax reports on your car to see what maintenance should be done on your car to help maintain and prolong the life of your car. They also follow up after they have done the service to check to make sure no issues have come up. If your looking for a new place to take your car, check them out you will not be disappointed.

You can trust these mechanics and that’s a hard thing to do these days. I have been misled by more than one shop. Honest, knowledgeable,and probably the cleanest garage lobby I’ve ever been in. I will definitely use them again when I need work.

Im so overjoyed and relieved how the men at this shop helped me this morning. I always come here for my repairs. I was close by and my rear turn signal went out and I was in a panic. I pulled over to their shop and asked if they could repair it. They looked so busy. Not only did they come in the parking lot...IN THE POURING RAIN!! They got it fixed in 15 minutes. They always go above and beyond, and always explain everything and are beyond fair on cost. Exceptional service. Haven't seen this before and I'm 52. Brings me joy that someone raised these guys right. Definitely come here..especially the ladies too. Very respectful owner and a great business!

Jacob was very communicative and thoroughly explained the issue and the repair when he called after the diagnosis. The shop is definitely a place I will recommend Steven,Jacob and the staff made me feel good about bringing my car in. I had a new engine put in my Kia sorento they fixed it so quick and my car runs as good as when I bought it brand new. They also Educated more about my car things the car dealer ship won’t tell you. If you want to best service you have to visit the shop.

The shop just completed a tune up on my 20 year old Impala and it runs as well as it did 20 years ago. The price was right and the guys made a couple recommendations on doing two more details to the work. It runs better than ever. Found them through google and the reviews are spot on. Brought a car I just purchased for a thorough inspection. They found a coolant leak and fixed it on the spot. They also found some issues that can be addressed later. Gave me some quotes and I will be able to budget it and come back. Now I can drive with some peace of mind. Bonus points: When they replace parts they keep the worn items to show you what was wrong. This kind of shop is far and few between. They earned my business. Give them a shot and I’m sure they’ll earn yours as well.

Brakes were vibrating hard, and despite being very busy they got my car diagnosed, quoted and fixed in just a couple hours. All staff was very friendly and helped me understand everything that was wrong and why. Prices are very affordable and have longer warrenties than other shops. Overall 10/10

Addition to previous post: I have lived in Europe, the middle east and all over the U.S. During those 60 years I have had 38 cars and been to countless service centers...but The Shop SHOULD GET 6 STARS! They diagnosed and repaired things other mechanics could not find...and they found multiple other things that needed immediate attention I didn't know were developing and potentially serious problems.Skilled, caring and honest mechanics are a rare breed, but that's what you get with Steven and his team! THANK YOU! FRIENDLY EXPERIENCE AND QUALITY WORK! Having a knowledgeable mechanic you can trust is a rare find in any community. But my experience with "The Shop" in J-Town and with the owner, Steven, has been outstanding! I had two unrelated issues with my Ford Escape. In the most gracious and sincere way Steve kept me fully informed at all times, worked hard to find ways to reduce the cost and completed the work to the highest standards. Steven treated me like a long time friend and customer even though it was my first visit. "The Shop" will be my "go to" for all future services for both of my cars. THANK YOU Steven!
