Needed my shifter replaced and my brother recommended “The Shop”. So, I took my car up there and made contact with Stephen and Jacob who are very great people to talk to and informative about what would be best for my car. Made an appointment and they put the shifter in and it now feels way better than before. 10/10 recommend going there for any service you need for your car. I will definitely be taking my car there if any issues occurs.

Had to find a mechanic going cross country and so glad to have stumbled upon The Shop! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and will not give up on helping you out ! 20/10 !

I have taken my car here a few different times for different issues. They have been exceptional every time. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and they are very open and transparent with cost and what is going on with your car. They have provided pictures of the damaged items/areas before they were replaced and the part removed from my car when I went to pick it up. The clear straitforward unambiguity is incredible and as someone who has been burnt by mechanics in the past taking advantage of my ignorance, The Shop is a welcome relief for a good autoshop.

I honestly was beginning to despise people in the auto repair industry for generally being dishonest, conniving scumbags, but then I met Steven and his team and they changed my mind on all that lol. It doesn’t get much better than this, folks

Everyone was so helpful, and Steven went out of his way listening to my concerns, diagnosed my car’s problem in a timely manner, and honestly! Steven made me feel cared for and important, like family! This is the best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic, and with his staff too!!

Honest and transparent with quality work! There’s a lot of anxiety bringing your vehicle in for a ‘noise’. A mechanic can tell you anything about what’s wrong and what’s needed. Luckily, Steven and his team diagnosed and fixed exactly what was wrong. They took the time to explain it with pictures. Was up front about the plan, timeframe and costs. It’s been a couple of weeks and the Jeep rides beautifully! I’m glad we have an honest and reliable shop in Jtown, and would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

These are the most honest and hardworking people you’ll ever meet. my sister and I are for Cincinnati and we were in the area to purchase a car from carvana (I KNOW) we got it and went to find the first body shop that would take us. first every other body shop only works on specific cars then the others that we did find in the area had a wait till next week. We called them they said they were about to close but will take us for a inspection. we went there they said this is a “no go car “had a previous accident that we were not aware of problems with the oil and bunch of other things that was never explained to us. They are so nice hardworking and knowledgeable they told us to take this care back and get a new one or DONT BUY FROM CARVANA EVER. The people there are the best . “Always go somewhere you can trust” these are those people thank you so much for all your help

I have family members who have had excellent experiences with The Shop, so that's where I took my car after it broke down. Steven called me every day with detailed updates to what he was finding and what it would cost. He was kind and friendly, I felt informed and confident that my car was in good hands, and I feel the price I paid was extremely fair. Best of all, my car drives beautifully (and safely) again. I will absolutely be returning next time my car needs work.

Steven and the mechanics at the shop are as honest as they come. Twice now I've come to them with "problems" that they've talked me out of wasting money on. They use good old fashion diagnostics to insure that they aren't just throwing parts at the problem to waste your time and money.

Very transparent about what your vehicle does and doesn’t need. Very rare that you find a shop that doesn’t try to squeeze money out of your pocket. Super friendly and very knowledgeable group as well!

Had a vehicle brought to The Shop for a pre-purchase inspection. Steven was fantastic in working with me on scheduling and the inspection was exactly what I needed. He went through what he found and gave me the information I needed to make a decision. Used vehicles are never perfect, but having a mechanic you can trust help you understand both the current condition as well as what you can expect in terms of repairs down the road is super valuable. Great service, and range of services. Great products, and, range of products with competitive pricing. (They saved me $35 on my battery alone) But for me, and, most importantly are the great people at ‘The Shop’. Fantastic customer service and support. The owners really have a handle on how to treat their customers fairly and with a service you will not forget.

If you are anywhere in the Louisville area you should definitely go to the shop for anything you need done. They are very friendly and reasonable people that have helped me countless times!

They were able to literally save Christmas by fixing my emergency breakdown on Christmas Eve! Fixed the problem quick and didn’t try to upsell me any BS. Then when I realized I forgot to apply a coupon to that fix they offered a free oil change to make it up. Excellent shop for any type of car!

Always a pleasant experience here! The guys are very professional. Service is always quick as possible, sometimes even same-day. Prices are more than fair! Staff is not pushy when it comes to possible repairs. I highly recommend Steven, Jacob, and the staff!

There is not enough room on this review to truly say how amazing The Shop is! We’ve taken our cars there for various reasons, several times, but I’ll just speak of this last time. They got us in right away fixed what was needed immediately as they knew that was my daughters only transportation. They helped her with the cost, and her car is working perfectly. (They even text to follow up the next day to make sure)! Steven and crew truly go beyond and above, and definitely far pass expectations.

I picked The Shop from Google since it had good reviews. I had a whole bunch of steering/suspension work on my old truck to keep it in good condition. They were very professional and communicated well. They were also very straightforward, showed me photos of a couple other issues they noticed, gave me different options, and even showed me the old parts afterwards even though I trusted them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! I’ll definitely go back for future repairs and have recommended them to a couple friends.

My husband and I have had a great experience with this shop. Excellent brake job and fair prices. Once my electrical panel lit up with the trac off and check engine light. They found my gas cap wasn't tight enough and it caused a vacuum. I was relieved at the quick, easy fix. I would have had to pay $180 at the dealership to find out something simple like that. I wasn't even charged here at all 🙂

Incredibly impressed with this place. I called asking about having some brake work done and they told me to bring it in any morning and they would take care of it. The repairs ended up being a bit more involved than expected, but they still managed to get everything done that same day! They were very communicative about my repairs throughout the process. They sent pictures and provided updates. All the staff I dealt with were very friendly and knowledgeable, taking time to answer any questions or explain any repairs. The prices of services were fair and reasonable. I will be back for any future mechanic services.

Great people to work with, and very personable as well as professional

Last night I noticed my engine light come and had no idea what was wrong. I remembered a business card I received in the mail describing "The Shop" for automotive repair. I took my vehicle in and discovered a great place to take my cars for repair. It's nice to find a repair shop you can trust for outstanding service. Today they won a new customer.

Our Prius was acting like the hybrid battery was problematic. We called around and found The Shop who could get it in and diagnose it for us. It ended up being the accessory battery. We appreciated the communications, and quick turn around of the car. I highly recommend this business.

I had my Honda civic serviced there and was taken care of so quickly! Tires were going bad and they replaced all four, did an alignment and replaced a wheel bearing that was much needed. I bought my car used a year and a half ago, and it has been nothing but trouble. I’ve taken it to multiple places for various repairs. I brought it to The Shop initially for a transmission leak, but they identified and addressed other issues I had been dealing with. They communicated with me throughout the process and got my car running better than it did when I first bought it. I’ll be bringing my car here from now on!
