Had a vehicle brought to The Shop for a pre-purchase inspection. Steven was fantastic in working with me on scheduling and the inspection was exactly what I needed. He went through what he found and gave me the information I needed to make a decision. Used vehicles are never perfect, but having a mechanic you can trust help you understand both the current condition as well as what you can expect in terms of repairs down the road is super valuable. I will continue to bring my business here. Highly recommend.

I took my vehicle to them recently and they did a great job fixing my brakes and more. They were honest and the prices were fair. Very friendly and I appreciated being updated via text, shown pictures of what needed to be fixed, and I was even shown the old parts of what was repaired when I arrived. The Shop will be my go-to now for auto repair.

Honest and transparent with quality work! There’s a lot of anxiety bringing your vehicle in for a ‘noise’. A mechanic can tell you anything about what’s wrong and what’s needed. Luckily, Steven and his team diagnosed and fixed exactly what was wrong. They took the time to explain it with pictures. Was up front about the plan, timeframe and costs. It’s been a couple of weeks and the Jeep rides beautifully! I’m glad we have an honest and reliable shop in Jtown, and would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

Great explanation of work and all done in one day

I bought my car used a year and a half ago, and it has been nothing but trouble. I’ve taken it to multiple places for various repairs. I brought it to The Shop initially for a transmission leak, but they identified and addressed other issues I had been dealing with. They communicated with me throughout the process and got my car running better than it did when I first bought it. I’ll be bringing my car here from now on!

Very transparent about what your vehicle does and doesn’t need. Very rare that you find a shop that doesn’t try to squeeze money out of your pocket. Super friendly and very knowledgeable group as well!

They did a great job of with my brakes that were taking a little longer than preferred to brake! It was quick and easy and we had the car back within the day! They explained everything well and it was very reasonably priced! Love working with these men, they make getting my car fixed and enjoyable experience.

I picked The Shop from Google since it had good reviews. I had a whole bunch of steering/suspension work on my old truck to keep it in good condition. They were very professional and communicated well. They were also very straightforward, showed me photos of a couple other issues they noticed, gave me different options, and even showed me the old parts afterwards even though I trusted them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! I’ll definitely go back for future repairs and have recommended them to a couple friends.

Needed my shifter replaced and my brother recommended “The Shop”. So, I took my car up there and made contact with Stephen and Jacob who are very great people to talk to and informative about what would be best for my car. Made an appointment and they put the shifter in and it now feels way better than before. 10/10 recommend going there for any service you need for your car. I will definitely be taking my car there if any issues occurs.

I have family members who have had excellent experiences with The Shop, so that's where I took my car after it broke down. Steven called me every day with detailed updates to what he was finding and what it would cost. He was kind and friendly, I felt informed and confident that my car was in good hands, and I feel the price I paid was extremely fair. Best of all, my car drives beautifully (and safely) again. But my experience with "The Shop" in J-Town and with the owner, Steven, has been outstanding! I had two unrelated issues with my Ford Escape. In the most gracious and sincere way Steve kept me fully informed at all times, worked hard to find ways to reduce the cost and completed the work to the highest standards. I had my Honda civic serviced there and was taken care of so quickly! Tires were going bad and they replaced all four, did an alignment and replaced a wheel bearing that was much needed. My car drives so smoothly now and is much quieter. Also their prices are honest. I would visit here again and refer anyone to The Shop for their car needs! Thank you

I honestly cannot recommend The Shop enough. At first I came in to get a second opinion and a quote. When I dropped off my vehicle I spoke with Steven about some history about the car as well as what our needs were. He was absolutely amazing, and after walking out of The Shop, I called my wife and said "I don't care if he charges us twice as much as the other place, I'm having them do the work." I never mentioned anything about having another place look at it first, so it wasn't like he was trying to undercut their quote. Even then, he made sure to try and get us the best prices on the parts and got us a couple of discounts on them. Honestly, after getting the quote from the other place, I priced it all out myself based on what they had said, and Steven and The Shop are definitely making money in some nefarious way, because it ain't in parts and labor... xD

The best service I’ve ever had! Steven and his crew were patient and explained what they were doing and why each step of the way. They helped make sure I knew what services I needed without making me feel pressured to get anything I didn’t need at the moment. Great service, and range of services. Great products, and, range of products with competitive pricing. (They saved me $35 on my battery alone) But for me, and, most importantly are the great people at ‘The Shop’. Fantastic customer service and support. The owners really have a handle on how to treat their customers fairly and with a service you will not forget.

They were able to literally save Christmas by fixing my emergency breakdown on Christmas Eve! Fixed the problem quick and didn’t try to upsell me any BS. Then when I realized I forgot to apply a coupon to that fix they offered a free oil change to make it up. Excellent shop for any type of car!

Moved back to J-Town. Passed this shop several times and had never stopped in. Needed some engine work done on my 96 Mustang GT. Explained the problem and was told they could take care of it. They completed the work in a timely manner and kept in contact with me the whole time the vehicle was there. The staff is very knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and professional. Would recommend this shop to any car person that wants quality work done. All my cars will be going here for any repairs.

I honestly was beginning to despise people in the auto repair industry for generally being dishonest, conniving scumbags, but then I met Steven and his team and they changed my mind on all that lol. It doesn’t get much better than this, folks

Steven was down to earth and very helpful. I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of and I felt heard when I explained the weird sound I was hearing coming from my car. Their pricing was much cheaper than Meinike plus this is a local business. The Shop was able to assess and repair my car within 24 hours (serpentine belt replacement, oil change, gasket replacement, spark plug replacement). The inside of my car was not dirty nor did it smell of oil like some of the other shops I’ve used in the past. Also, I realized when I got home that I had left my backpack in the backseat the whole time that had personal information and my laptop inside and nothing was disturbed or missing. The Shop and Steven were friendly, efficient, and trustworthy. Definitely will be going back for future car repair needs. Heard of this business via word of mouth and I plan to spread the word too. Great experience!

Great experience at this place and very well ran. Had some problems with my truck was able to get me in the same day and have it ready 2 days later. This was seriously the first time someone has ever walked me through everything I had going on. Even offered to have there specialist come up as well if I wanted. When I went in to pick up my car they had everything laid out on the counter so I could visually see everything they had told me they were going to replace and had the team as well there. Mind blown!!!! I might add that before they did anything he even offered to let me take anywhere else and get an another opinion before doing anything. Hats off to these guys. Can't tell you enough how much I recommend this place.

Fast and easy service....great staff

An Auto repair shops can be found anywhere and some are even proficient but not many can do real auto repair like tearing down a busted engine barely running. My Mustang, after a 116,000 miles, needed just such a repair. The guys at The Shop not only tore my engine down and made the repair and thus saving the car but enhanced the power out put by making additional upgrades to the engine as they reassembled - the whole time sending me pictures of the repair. Such engine work is not everyday auto shop work and was far more than I would have trusted many to do. All the guys at The Shop love cars and know cars. I recommend them to all and trust them with both my cars. In addition to doing high level auto repair the guys at The Shop are a Pun of Fun

This place has got my business from here on out. I came in for a standard full synthetic oil change. They did a routine inspection and found the source of a spooky sound that I had been hearing that I didn’t even think to tell them about! They also identified that I had an oil leak, which I was not aware of. They physically showed me where the issues were, which I felt was very transparent of them. They also explained everything to me to make sure I understood why certain things needed to be replaced. I felt like they treated me with the utmost care, which I really appreciated. Their pricing is also super reasonable. I am so glad I decided to try them out for an oil change! They will be my go-to shop now! Thanks a ton!

Love the shop for all of my automotive needs. The staff is so attentive and knowledgable! They educate you on the work they are performing on your car and how to best take care of the vehicle. Oil Housing Adaptor cracked resulting in Coolant/Oil leaking and mixing. The Shop got my vehicle in and repaired the next day after calling for a quote. Cost was the most competitive of a handful of quotes I received from other local repair shops. Would use again!
