Loved this shop! Glad I brought my car here and I will recommend anyone to come here when looking for a good crew to take care of you. The Shop saved the day with a sudden emergency with the vehicle and they did a great job taking care of it. ⚙️

Staff was very sweet and welcoming! Dropped my car off Thursday and was completed by Monday! My cars drives like it’s brand new!

Brought my car in because my radiator was leaking a lot. The team did a full diagnostic and gave me a quote on how much it would cost to fix. It was undoubtedly expensive so i didnt feel like doing it right now. I told that to them and they said there was no pressure and i didnt have to pay for the diagnostic. Very friendly and informative all around.

Professional and informative. Staff made good recommendations as to the brake work I needed. Price was reasonable for this day and age. Work was completed quickly.

An Auto repair shops can be found anywhere and some are even proficient but not many can do real auto repair like tearing down a busted engine barely running. My Mustang, after a 116,000 miles, needed just such a repair. The guys at The Shop not only tore my engine down and made the repair and thus saving the car but enhanced the power out put by making additional upgrades to the engine as they reassembled - the whole time sending me pictures of the repair. Such engine work is not everyday auto shop work and was far more than I would have trusted many to do. All the guys at The Shop love cars and know cars. I recommend them to all and trust them with both my cars. In addition to doing high level auto repair the guys at The Shop are a Pun of Fun

Transparent diagnostic processes and fair pricing. The distinction between safety related repairs and other issues that are going to be an upcoming needed repair. These guys give good advice on repairs and vehicle longevity in a time of inflated new car prices is prices, and that has real value these days.

I knew I needed my brakes checked, and I work right next to The Shop, so I went over and asked if they could look at it. Going in, the vibe was already super fun. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Steven greeted me at the desk, and we talked about possible repairs—then he told me to bring it by, they’d look at it, and if I wanted, they could start repairs right away and hopefully have them done that night! Once they knew what my car would need Steven walked over to let me know and talk it through with me. He was clearly very knowledgeable and he explained what my car needed and why it was important and how they were going to do it well. Brian was the tech, and he stayed late to get my repairs finished for me. Steven kept me updated the whole time. I picked up my car with new brake pads, rotors, and fresh calipers, and my little Hyundai has not driven better since I got her last year. They do oil changes as well, they’re super sweet and fun—definitely definitely go here if you need work on your car.

This place was AMAZING! They worked with me a lot and my budget. I got my AC compressor and belt done here and I would highly recommend this place!

The service that I received two weeks ago was amazing and the price for the the repairs was second to none.

I recently had my car serviced at this company, and overall, I am very pleased with the results. My car runs perfectly now, thanks to their precise and high-quality work in replacing many parts. I absolutely recommend getting your car serviced or repaired here for the quality of the work alone. However, there were a few areas where the customer service could improve. The phone conversations were a bit rushed, and the explanations of the issues and necessary repairs felt hurried. Despite this, they did take the time to show me the parts that were replaced, which I greatly appreciated. They also walked my brother and I through the process a bit, this occurred in person upon picking up the vehicle. In summary, I would say that the exceptional quality of the service and the thoroughness of the repairs outweigh the minor customer service issues. I highly recommend this company for any car repairs or maintenance needs.

Most car repair shops aren’t to be trusted, they’re sleazy and liars for the most part. But not the shop, I found this place from a recommendation and I was delighted when I came here for service, everything was explained and compared to the previous labor I had on my vehicle, the price was outstanding, so I too, recommend this shop to anyone needing auto repairs or maintenance, this is an honest and affordable car repair shop.

We were passing through Louisville to Chicago when we started to have car issues with our Honda Odyssey. The engine light was flashing, and we were panicking. Not knowing anyone in the area, we looked online and saw that "The Shop" had a rating of 5. I was skeptical that any business could have a perfect rating, but after another mechanic shop said they couldn't take our car for a week, we decided to give "The Shop" a try as we needed the car fixed ASAP. We gave "The Shop" a call, and Stephen took our call. He was super friendly and knowledgeable, immediately putting us at ease. He told us to bring the car in right away and mentioned they had "the Honda Expert" who could help. The team at "The Shop" did a thorough inspection and even found a part that needed to be replaced, which could have caused serious damage to the car. Their work was top-notch, and they communicated with us promptly throughout the process. Thanks to their help, we were able to get back on the road to Colorado with no more car issues. We are so grateful for their timely and excellent service. If you have trouble with your car, bring it to them. It will be in good hands, and you will not be disappointed.

These guys are hands down the best in town. They’re incredibly kind and knowledgeable and explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand, even if you know nothing about cars. Take every car you ever own here. Seriously, they’re awesome.

Everyone at The Shop was extremely kind and knowledgeable. They helped me out right away, assured me everything would get fixed correctly and made me feel very confident that I brought my car to the right place. They got me back on the road to my kids asap. The staff there made going to a mechanic an easy and pleasant experience. I’d 1000% send any of my friends and family there.

Excellent in everyway

My wife and I recently moved to Fern Creek. Since we drive older cars, it's good to have a trustworthy mechanic close by. We happened to meet Steven through our new neighbor, and within about a month both of our cars needed some repair work. We decided to use "The Shop" and we are glad we did. Steven and his staff are courteous, fair, quite knowledgeable, and very accommodating. We are happy and relieved that we've found our new car guy.

Great and quick service

These guys are phenomenal, the quality customer service as well as the quality work is hard to top. These guys can fix everything from your daily driver to your track driven race car. I highly recommend these guys to anyone needing any kind of maintenance and repairs for a quality price.

Needed my shifter replaced and my brother recommended “The Shop”. So, I took my car up there and made contact with Stephen and Jacob who are very great people to talk to and informative about what would be best for my car. Made an appointment and they put the shifter in and it now feels way better than before. 10/10 recommend going there for any service you need for your car. I will definitely be taking my car there if any issues occurs.

Was just there today. These guys are great. They diagnosed my issue with an engine light and didn't charge me! Now I know what I need to fix and what parts to order. Other places likely would not have been this honest and fair. 10/10. Quit going to the other places, and come here. I am.

I picked The Shop from Google since it had good reviews. I had a whole bunch of steering/suspension work on my old truck to keep it in good condition. They were very professional and communicated well. They were also very straightforward, showed me photos of a couple other issues they noticed, gave me different options, and even showed me the old parts afterwards even though I trusted them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! I’ll definitely go back for future repairs and have recommended them to a couple friends.

Appreciate and love The Shop SO much! I desperately needed an oil change before going out of town and they thankfully were able to squeeze me in. Their staff are so friendly, the waiting area is very clean and it was an amazing deal! We will definitely be back and I’ve already started messaging family before even walking out the door. We recently took our 2009 Mustang to The Shop for a pinion seal leak based on a referral. We had it repaired and returned to us the same day. We are new fans of The Shop! Steven and his crew are professional and knowledgeable, and we love that they are locally owned. We will be using them for all of our future auto needs.

Can't say enough about these guys. Stephen and Jacob are awesome. The rack and pinion replacement they did for me around a year ago is driving great. And today they beat Amazon on the battery they sold us!

We were having break issues on our 2013 Ford F150. The Shop diagnosed the problem, gave us an estimate and our truck runs great now. They are reasonably priced, friendly and very professional!! I highly recommend them!!!

Went there to get my oil changed today and my service was excellent. The guys was very knowledgeable and help with something that was also going on with my vehicle other the oil change. They did over charge me for anything and I will be a returning customer for sure.

As a woman who has tried multiple automotive shops both chain and small, I cannot recommend The Shop enough. Their style of informing me what was going on with my 2011 VW Golf TDI was knowledgeable without mansplaining and was incredibly refreshing. This is a tip to toe mentality shared among the entire Shop, and you could tell they actually liked their jobs. Not common these days, but so nice to see. I have never felt more confident in my understanding of what is actually being worked on in my car and that the work being performed is of the highest quality. I will without a doubt be a lifelong customer. No one I'd trust more at this point.

Steven and the rest of the staff are great. They do quality work at a fair price. This is the only place I bring my vehicles. I highly recommend The Shop!!!

Exceptional service! I called them quite by accident when the dealership said they could not see me until mid June after my check engine came on. The owner, Steven Kelly, said come right over and we will diagnose the problem. I did and was completely at ease. Took my car in today and I can’t say enough good…a great bunch of guys (even though I had to walk there…LOL). I’ll never go anywhere else!!
